Thanks to the improved algorithm that Olympus has implemented, this auto focus system offers high-speed, high–precision auto focus acquisition regardless of lens or subject.

Unique Shooting Features

Olympus has included some unique shooting modes that allow for ultimate creativity with your photography. Two notable features include a Pro-Capture mode which is perfect for time sensitive shooting such as wildlife. This mode will start preemptively shooting as the shutter button is half depressed, meaning that you will not miss the perfect moment. Secondly, there is the Tripod High Res Shot mode. This mode will shift the image sensor in 0.5-pixel increments whilst taking 8 sequential photos. These are then merged into one single image, equivalent to that of a 50 megapixel photo – Perfect for landscape photographers.
