The Kenko Digital NDX (ND2.5 – ND1000) Variable Filters are designed to reduce the amount of light entering your lens by 1.3 stops to 10 stops. Simply turn the ring and the filter will darken until almost completely opaque, allowing you to use longer shutter speeds during daylight conditions.
The NDX Variable filter allows you to create smooth blurring effects when shooting seascapes or to allow the use of wide aperture settings such as f1.4 for a shortened depth of field.
