The Hoya Close Up Filter +1 allows closer focusing distances than your camera's lens could otherwise manage. Close-up filters are small, light, easy to carry and require no exposure compensation when mounted directly on the camera lens.
The +1 dioptre close-up filter provides a maximum subject-to-lens distance of 1000mm with your lens focussed at infinity. Closer focussing distances are also possible, and the minimum distance will be determined by your lens. An aperture of f/8 or smaller is recommended for use with +1 close-up filters.
